Watch JR assemble a large optical phantasm round IM Pei’s Louvre pyramid
This time-lapse film exhibits the set up of avenue artist JR’s paper trompe l’oeil on the Louvre Pyramid in Paris, France.
Named The Secret of the Nice Pyramid, it imagined the long-lasting constructing by Pritzker prize-winner IM Pei extending deep under the bottom on the Musée du Louvre, in celebration of its 30th anniversary.
Constructed from 2,000 stickers, it was JR’s largest collage to this point – however a day later it was left in shreds after guests traipsed throughout it.
